Data validation
Deepen AI's trained teams check your datasets and labels before you train or accept a delivery, and list every problem with the evidence.

What a validation finding looks like
Each problem is listed with the item, the evidence and the rule it breaks, and each batch gets an error rate.
- Item
- Frame 18822, front camera
- Labeled as
Parked car- Found
- Wrong classStopped vehicle: its brake lights are on and it's in a moving lane.
- Reason
- Your taxonomy separates parked from stopped by lane and brake lights.
- Item
- LiDAR sweep 4410
- Labeled as
6 pedestrians- Found
- Missing labelA seventh pedestrian stands behind the bus shelter, with 31 points.
- Reason
- Your spec labels every person with 20 points or more.
- Item
- Batch 12 from your labeling vendor, 2,000 frames
- Checked
- A sample of 200 frames
- Found
- AcceptedError rate 1.5%, inside your 2% acceptance limit.
- Reason
- Errors are listed by type, so they can be fixed before the next batch.
- Item
- Frame 20117, front camera
- Labeled as
- Debris
- Found
- Sent to youIt's a fallen traffic cone. Your taxonomy has both “cone” and “debris”. Which applies once it's fallen?
- Reason
- Your answer is added to the taxonomy notes for everyone.
How we start on your work
No sales call. A plan in your inbox, then a short paid pilot on your real data.
What we need from you
- Your dataset or delivery, and where it's stored
- Your labeling spec or taxonomy
- Your acceptance rules: which errors matter, and what rate is acceptable
- 5 minutesTell us the task
What data and labels you have, how much, and when you need the results.
- Within 2 working daysGet a plan and a price
People, hours, the rate, start date and the total price.
- 2 weeksRun the pilot
We train the team on your spec, check real data and send two weekly reports. Then you decide.
Who validates, and how findings are checked
Trained reviewers, working in English. Each one learns your spec and taxonomy and checks a set of known items before live work, and every finding comes with its evidence.

Every reviewer's accuracy is measured
Items you've already answered are hidden in the real work, so we know how accurate each person is.

Nobody guesses on unclear cases
The team lead decides, or asks you. Your answer joins the guidelines.

You see the results every week
A weekly report shows work done, QA results and what's improving.
Standard validation covers image, video, LiDAR and multi-sensor labels, in your tools or Deepen AI's Validate. Fixing labels at scale is quoted as an enterprise program.
How much does data validation cost?
Data validation is quoted in your plan, because the rate depends on your data, your labels and how much is checked. You pay for the hours people work, with a team lead, QA checks and a weekly report included.
Set before you pay. Your plan shows the rate, team size, hours and total price.
Starts with a two-week pilot on your real data, paid upfront, with two weekly reports.
Your data stays protected. We work under NDA with the access you set. Deepen AI holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and TISAX.
Questions
Do you check every item, or a sample?
Either. A sample tells you whether a batch meets your acceptance limit; a full check finds every problem. Your plan says which, and how big the sample is.
Can you check a delivery from another labeling vendor?
Yes. Many teams use validation to accept or return each batch, with the error list as evidence.
Which formats can you read?
ASAM OpenLABEL, COCO, KITTI, Pascal and your own schema, in your tools or Deepen AI's Validate.
What do we get?
A list of every problem, with the item, the type of error, the evidence and the rule it breaks, plus error rates by batch and by type.
Can you fix the errors too?
Yes. Corrections are quoted in your plan, and large relabeling jobs run as enterprise programs on Deepen AI's tools.
How is our data protected?
We work under NDA, with the access you set, and you can remove it at any time. Deepen AI holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and TISAX.
