What a moderation decision looks like
Each item comes back approved, removed or sent to you, with the rule it was decided under.

- Reason
- Rule 4.2 allows collectible knives with blades under 30 cm from age-verified sellers. This seller is verified.

- Your filter flagged
- Possible spam.
- Reviewer decided
- RemovedReview removed, and the account sent a warning.
- Reason
- Rule 2.1: reviews may not contain contact details or send buyers off the platform.
- Post
- Anyone else think the new update is terrible? Feels like nobody tested it.
- Reported as

Questions
Which content does the team moderate?
Text and images: listings, reviews, comments, posts, profiles and messages, checked for spam, scams, prohibited items, harassment, impersonation and breaches of your rules. Tell us your queue when you request a plan, and the plan says what's covered.
We don't have a written policy. Can you help?
Yes. Send the decisions your team has already made, and the team lead turns them into written rules during the pilot. You approve them before they're used.
How do you keep decisions consistent?
Every decision cites a rule. We mix items with known correct decisions into the queue, check how often moderators agree, and re-check a sample of decisions. You see the numbers in your weekly report.
How fast do decisions come back?
You set the turnaround and the hours you need covered when we plan the work. We staff the team to meet them, and both are written into your plan, with the price, before you pay anything.
Can you handle a spike, such as a launch or a sale?
Tell your team lead ahead of time, and the team is sized for it. Your weekly report shows the hours and the items decided.
What about appeals?
Send back any decision a user disputes. Your team lead reviews it against your policy and replies with the outcome and the rule. If the policy needs a change, the guidelines are updated for the whole team.
